Georgia rapidly becoming ‘Hollywood of the South’
Have you notice or heard the buzz around Atlanta, stepping inline to create a presence for itself in the film industry? Yes indeed, there is a new kid on the block, ready to stand confidently next to California and New York City. According to Georgia Newsroom, “Georgia has the production resources and professional support to make any size production a true success.”
The purpose of filming locally is all the tax breaks and benefits the production companies are receiving.
Atlanta is a new HUB for filming scenes and bringing major productions back to Hollywood for editing and release. I think Atlanta will continue to grow in the filming world, and you might just see an A Lister walking down the street at any given moment.
Its obvious that the film industry is paying close attention to Atlanta, Georgia; considering the state as a serious hub for filming scenes due to all incentives Georgia provides.
Georgia a hot spot for film production. In 2014 top films just to name a few “Selma,” “Need for Speed,” and “Fast & Furious 7, and many others” were shot right here in Georgia and Atlanta.
